Last season ended 3 months ago. Any 'form' (or lack of it) for either side means bugger all. We have bought some real quality, and Pelli' is a wily old bird... my guess is the Mickeys will be far more worried about us than Vicky Vercky.
Philosophically, what is the worst that can happen? Most neutrals, looking at last season (see above) will be expecting us to lose, and there's nowhere 'down' from there, so really we have no pressure - we can work on gelling the side, and Pelli' will learn more from a PL game than a dozen training sessions.
My guess is, they will score one or two, but they have changes at the back, and we might well do likewise. I'm going for 2-2.

fully expect bit of a dicking today 3 or 4 goal defeat not because we are crap but think liverpool will be excellent this season and will hammer a lot of sides

It's possibly just his Summer injury is still showing up on their database. On tmkt he's still down as injured too from the Summer injury, because they initially put late August down as his return date. Hope that's it, anyway.

Alright Charley! So another season rolls around again. A great transfer window, but that needs to be the first of a good few like that.
